As our time in the West Indies comes to a close, we reflect upon our choice experiences and the people we have come to dearly love.
Each life that touches ours for good
Reflects thine own great mercy Lord;
Thou sendest blessings from above
Thru words and deeds of those who love.
What greater gift dost thou bestow,
What greater goodness can we know
Than Christlike friends, whose gentle ways
Strengthen our faith, enrich our days.
When such a friend from us departs,
We hold forever in our hearts
A sweet and hallowed memory,
Bringing us nearer, Lord, to thee.
For worthy friends whose lives proclaim
Devotion to the Savior's name,
Who bless our days with peace and love,
We praise thy goodness, Lord, above.

While the Elders were hiking for p-day, the Sisters did mission business. Not quite as fun, but somebody has to do it!!!!

Cashew trees
They have been drying in the hot sun for about 5 days
Heston showed us how to dry, cook and crack open the shells of cashew nuts
After the nuts have been dried in the sun, cook them over an open flame
The oil inside the shell will ignite. Let them catch on fire and then quickly extinguish.
Take them off the fire
Crack open the shells and take the cashew out
Eat and enjoy!!!
....And.....we had very black fingers, when all was said and done!
Ricky has been working on his boat for the past week
It now has a fresh coat of paint.....
.....and a new name! He named his boat after a very courageous, obedient, faithful and diligent Nephite leader. A true friend!

Saturday, we held a successful Health Clinic at our church in St. Georges as part of a humanitarian project which we worked on.
The sun sets on our last full week in the West Indies Mission. This is hard! That's all we have to say about that!
