Smith's Situation: ALL THINGS BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL

All things bright and beautiful,

All creatures great and small,

The purple-headed mountain,

The river running by,

That brighten up the sky.

The cold wind in the winter,

The pleasant summer sun,

The ripe fruits in the garden,

He made them every one.

Each day that we spend on this beautiful island, we are reminded of the graciousness of the Lord in giving us His beautiful creations and bounteous harvest...and the very air that we breathe. We are so grateful!

As a Zone, we are doing a service project each week. Previously, we carried trees up to the farm of Heston and Simone Cummings. We did so again this week. They now have 75 new cocoa trees up on the farm in the "bush".

Sister Smith had the only casualty from the adventure. That's a shocker!!!

This week was CARNIVAL in Grenada. The missionaries were on "lockdown" for a couple of days, so we didn't see a lot....just a few stragglers here and there.

The Sisters cooked lunch for us during Carnival. They turned their apartment into the QuaQua Restaurant............

................Complete with entertainment, which included singing, kazoos, musical spoons and oat shaker rhythm instruments. They clearly had too much time on their hands!!!!......But the food was DELICIOUS! (We have some extraordinary cooks) We ate bacon wrapped dates, Chicken Tikka Masala and cinnamon rolls for dessert! They even had hot dogs on hand if we didn't want to eat what they had prepared. (No way!!!!)
